A woof woof time in the Stock Market

What a nice holiday! : ) Especially seeing Nikkei and the rest of Asia bourses continued where they left off last week. I sensed consolidations in Oil, Gas plays. I believe there are more room for them since Iran refused to back off. Of course, tonight's Fed meeting withh influence how and where we move too. Let's watch!

Pardon me for no charts, I have been more used to dealing cards rather than charting over the last few days. haha Let me get back my momentum. However no article is complete without the Grow Money Quick Pick!!! hahaha!

Last Trading Day of the year of Cockerool!

Here it is! Moment of truth tomorrow. Last trading day of the lunar calendar. Either we will usher in the dog year with a bang, or we end up very worrying people over the holidays! haha It's the long weekend, look out for profit taking. To identify between profit taking and smart money leaving, look out for total volume traded.

Decipher wishes all of us a very satisfying & bountiful doggie year ahead! Tua Tua Huat ah! :D

Her, I don't see anything on Singtel except the huge long candle today. haha Hence no chart hor.

Very weak Banking Sector

STI rebounded again and successfully tested a higher low at 2353 there abouts. This keeps the uptrend intact. Good news! If this is true, then we will expect STI to challenge the high at 2440 thereabouts. If it ever retrace to 2325, i will be very very worried. On the weekly chart of STI, i am seeing a very steep near term support line. The only disappointment i have is banking sector. It is grossly oversold although many expect the economy to be great this year. With Elections coming and the results due out after CNY. They should move soon. The first set of results from SPC, Kepland & Utac has been outstanding! Even Suntec Reits are giving better dividends than expected. How to be bear like that?

With crude oil retracing, if you believe oil and gas will be the theme to play this year, here's your chance to load up!

DMX - Taking a breather?

AusGrp - Oil, Gas sector play

SembKim - Progressive charting; breakout in volume today much to my delight. It should cotinue tomorrow after 3 sessions of consolidating.

DBS - Progressive charting; Still betting on a rebound.

DataCraft - Progressive Charting; Still betting on a rebound. How can it not move to US$1.20?? Shares buy back, double digit growth...what else can i say?

Sesdaq leads the stock market

While the bluechips are still singing the blues, Sesdaq had an outstanding session. China stocks continued to be firm.

My growmoney quick pick on Sunday was outstanding! Even those i that i picked up last week exploded today. Though it could just be for today. Why? CNY will cost us 2 days of trading thus only 3 trading days next week. With global markets weak in the knees, how many dare to hold the stocks over the 4 days of holidays? Especially for me, I rather play my blackjacks with a piece of mind! hahaha

Charts galore tonight! I studied and found that, low volume, tight price range is the calm before breakouts! Please take some time to go through the charts, hopefully you can pick up this important info and apply it in the future. Remember the pre-requisite is prior uptrend. :)

Somehow unless a strong rebound happened to the blue chips, i am still not feeling good about the direction of our market. Yes penny shares may move. But think about it, if smart money are leaving bluechips because of low confidence on the outlook of big companies, how can smaller companies perform better than big companies in terms of dollars and cents. Did they pump the price of pennies up to liquidate? With Government and analysts very bullish on our economy, our STI should be trading above 2400. Did someone lied? Well Thaksin denied earlier about selling his shares to Temasek a week ago too but end up, his family sold to Temasek. keke
Anyway, our own corporate earnings are reporting soon. If that doesn't push the market north.....watch out...

Progressive charting - Sembawang Kimtrans

Progressive Charting - DataCraft

Progressive Charting - DBS

Media Ring - My target is 0.40 based on a longer time frame view. If the flag continues to flap...very very high chance.

KS Energy - No sign of weakness, may head into consolidations again. During consolidation, watch for light volume with tight price range. Either one missing, i will be cautious.

Onion Ring - The need to rethink my strategy. I sold after the price keep declining slowly. I fear a slow death. All these despite smelling consolidations judging on the volume. Luckily I explained my reasons for selling and advise one reader that possible consolidations although i sold. Otherwise he sure curse me! :D

MMI - Hard Disk play looks very strong during the last two weeks. With MMI's volume steadily lower than average, I smell consolidations.

Ellipsi - Wooo...My scan picks this up on suspicions of consolidation. I did not buy because it is a electronic packaging provider. I thought electronics is not going strong and not in the play hence I ignored. Looks like T.A signals are potent even when F.A is unsure.

CSE Global - Comfy, you ho say liao la...mai nervous! :D

China Sky Chem - Spotted 1 week ago on suspicions of consolidations. Due to the weak market, i did not dare buy. Now that it has breakout, do i dare to buy? I think not. The china word still scares me. :D

Stock Market in sea of red

The unexpected did not happen and market tanked big time. My watchlist was in a sea of red. I respect those who took the risk and profited today in shorting or buying the put warrants. Seriously, i am quite envious or should i say, greedy? Ever since i won in recent weeks, suddenly i feel really uncomfortable not to see my stocks appreciate in value. I tried to compare to where I was last year, the difference this time round is, the stocks that I hold are better quality stocks. Hence evern though the market is not smiling, holding on to them feels safer as I know when market rebound, my stocks will move up in tantem. Last year, the kind of stocks I hold only participate in the march to south....when market rebound, it didn't bulge!

I don't like the way both financial giants Nikkei and Dow Jones had been sold down. Hence I continue to take a precautious view and staying by the sideline. If I am to buy, i must make sure it is not just for a 2 cts gains or a technical rebound only. Anyway, i'm targeting the next decent breakout for a good risk/reward trade....look out for it!

DBS - Can history repeat itself? Banks, always a proxy for economy....so many expected Singapore's economy to be good in 2006, banks should be moving north.

SembKim Trans - Healthy pull backs with low volume, my favourite.

Jittery Stock Market ahead

Dow Jones & Nasdaq tanked big time on Friday. We are almost certainly to have an early sell off in the morning on Monday. Oil price continues to head towards US$70 again. This is really a worrying a sign. Tensions in Iran and Nigeria were the culprits or should I say excuse? Sometimes i wonder, did the two government long the Crude Oil futures before creating the tension. If I must buy, I think the sector I'll play with will be Oil, Gas sector & Property. Banking sector is still weak. And guess what! I bottom picked DBS and is now sitting on a paper loss. Gees...i never seems to be able to pull off bottom fishing in my entire career. I performed so much better with breakouts. Property is sky high now...i'll wait patiently for them to consolidate before I strike.

After a rousing start to the year, I began to get greedy. Instead of waiting patiently for a breakout I like, I began to modify my strategy to capture consolidations and bottom picking stocks. I forgot it was my patience that rewarded me with a 50% recovery of total losses. Unknowningly, I had deviated from my plan. I'm lucky that I didn't buy more than I can lose last week, otherwise it will be a sure way to lose everything back to the market. I shall cease to be greedy and get back down to earth. My money will grow if i don't sucuumb to greed and start to make very poor risk reward trades.

Finally, i wish everyone a smooth Monday, hang on tight and let's see what's left of the market at 5pm. 1 lesson i never will forget in Stock Market, when everything seems so obvious, Expect the unexpected!

To my Yahoo Group, No Weekly mail from me this week as I am confused about what's going to happen. : ) I won't write rubbish just for the sake of writting.

Well, this is an extremely risky time to take position in the market, but with risk, comes great reward. As much as I prefer to stay sidelined. Here's the list of stocks for the brave hearts to try. : )

Sky China Petrol - Another China play i ignored despite picking up mid week. I have no regrets about being careful about ChinaStocks...but i shouldn't have ignored the strong technical bullish signals.

Semb Marine- Big brother Keppel Corp has run away. This should follow given it's chart formation and the current theme on oil and gas play.

DMX - Maybe it's time i stop ignoring china stocks. Celestial, DMX, Cosco...they are fast becoming expensive. Time to spot the next world class company from China. See this chart, a classic human greed in action. News leaked out way before we heard it from the news about Venture falling in love with DMX.

Stock Market rebounded with Vengeance!

What a day! The stock market rebounded strongly on cue from Nikkei which had a more than 300 points incline. But still this is no confirmation that the worst is over. It can be a technical rebound. But the volume and the late buying at closing really seems very bullish to me. It will be good if we can close Friday on another up day to erase the deficits on Tuesday and Wednesday. Trade with care.

I remember the same thing happened in Oct'05, we had our worst decline in history and then it lasted for 5 days. This time round i took no chance and decided to take profit first and trim my holdings by selling onion tech incase the decline is just as worse. However today everything rebounded including onion tech. I asked myself, am i stupid to run too early? In the end, i decided i did the right thing. I have just lost a small amount on onion ring and the price rebounded. If i had not sold, and onion tech continues to decline? I would have lost more. Hence I feel safer to have a closed position. It is utmost important that i did not hang on to hope. When i feel uncomfortable, it's better to stay aside. Although I am wary of the market direction, I am still hanging on to my other quality stocks. (At least i think). Because i know that I am no expert. My anticipation may be wrong hence I cut all those i least confident only.

My visitors rate dropped over the last 2 days. Gosh, i hope you guys are not burnt by the market. If you are, don't be too depressed. Market is always there, we can always make back the money together. *cheers*

97% ROI in a trade on the stock market? Dreaming? Better Believe it!

Today marks the end of my amazing 7 consecutive wins in the stock market! I had to cut my Onion Tech as it has reached my threshold for cutting loss although the volume seems like consolidations. But! I'm proud to present to you a successful "let ur profits run" trade....Capitaland! Read all about it below. : ) If I can do it, so can you!

When I lost money in 2004, i did made 2 good wins of 20% ROI... Junma and HGM...of course along the way, they took back everything from me too. But the point i'm driving at is, they are the reasons why i never gave up trading. I knew the books were right, all I need is a few big winners and I can have massive wins! Now closing my positions on Ho Bee and Capitaland, I had effectively recovered 50% of my total losses! This is achieved in just Jan'06. If I continue to trade the way I am now....i'm sure 2006 will be my most satisfying year! Not because i win back my losses. Most importantly my trading skills improved! As a trader, do not think of profits first. Learn to Survive in the market, then go for profits...then massive profits!!! Learning the skills is more important for the benefit of the long term. I wrote all these not to impress you or trying to be a proud peacock. My main objective is to get you to learn with me, stop all the mistakes that are re-occuring. They are hurting the pockets!

As for the market, we are badly affected by the more than 400 points decline in Nikkei. There are no economic reasons for the selling today. More of a reactions to Japan. Infact all the fundamental data looks fine and we are expecting a wave of strong results coming soon. But in trading, i learnt to be cautious on the safe side. No doubt greater risk comes greater rewards. But there is also nothing wrong in growing ur money slowly and surely. : )

Onion Tech - I sold onion tech because I want to restrategise my game plan. I bought it due to greed as mentioned as previous post. It is a lost. Fully deserved it because i did not stick to my trading rules. Wat are the chances of it breaking out like a celestial? BeautyChina? Possible but not high chance. Hence I rather cut my losses while it is still small. Consolidate all my cash and get ready for the next chance. Sigh...my first lost after 7 consecutive wins leh!!!! so sad record broken!

Ho Bee- I sold!!! hehe After holding for so long, i gained 20% ROI. 1 lesson i learnt here is the number of missed opportunities during the time when my cash is tight because I parked at Ho Bee. I must remember, i am a trader. Someone who buy low and sell for profits. My funds should be very liquid.

Capitaland- 97% ROI. After missing out on a similar chance last October, no way am i letting this one slip out of my hands! I cashed out after sensing heavy selling. Also it makes sense because why should I use my 97% profits to go for that extra less than 10% gains which doesn't look likely to happen? I remembered my misses with DBS, SPH & KeppelLand last October. No way am i going to miss it again!

Profit from A mixed Stock Market

Gosh! I am staring at a 90% ROI trade today! Yeah that's right, Capital Land babies which I bought 3 weeks ago. While Rotary and DBS disappoints me with only less than 10% profits, Capitaland really flys! This reminds me of my favourite lesson in trading...."It is not how many times you win or lose, it is how much you win when you are correct and how much you lose when you are wrong that matters" So far I always let my profits run and take profits only when I smell weakness. Sometimes when my profits are eaten up by a sudden reversal, i began to wonder it it is best to set a target say 20% and just take profit when 20% is achieved. This is not the first time i have seen more than 50% ROI...keppel Land, SPH, DBS and now Capitaland.
Without saying the first 3 end with little profits, now...should i just close the trade tomorrow morning? Or should I just wait for weakness to show...dilema...but at least it's a happy one. haha Double hattrick? kekeke

As for the market, mixed and nothing much to shout about. However i do not detect heavy selling. US market is closed tonight providing no potential clue for actions tomorrow.

I changed my quickpick list once again, this time round i hope to capture a breakout before it happens.

A doji formed on the stock market last week.

We closed the week on a mixed note with a relatively high volume. It is formed by profit taking and bargain hunting. This is why the doji is formed. There we have it, a very mixed stock market. Where do we go from here? If stock market is just taking a breather, cheers mate! Our portfolio will grow money again this coming week. But if the profit taking ensues and nobody is buying, be nimble! So question now is, will there be buying? Market did not move to higher ground and most stocks are mixed other than a selected few. Hence I boldly think that we shall not see anymore profit taking on gains. Any more selling will mean to me money are going out of the stock market. Buying? After most stocks' prices are corrected, it should be at attractive levels for re-entry or those who missed the rally 2 weeks ago to get on board. There you go, my own psychology indicator of the stock market. : )

Can you believe it? I spent 6 hours on the analysis today! I really couldn't find anything bullish or bearish. Actually, it's also good to not find anything bearish about the market. At least we still have chance to see our portfolio grow ma. keke If I detect any bullishness from the closing tomorrow, I will add on my position!

Those in my mailing list have received a list of "hibernating" stocks from me. Remember hor, do not contra on those!!! They need time to blossom like a flower!

Fischer - Forming a cup and handle? I will grab on the breakout!

OnionTech - I bought because of greed. I deserved the paper loss i am sitting on now. If i ever have to cut loss on this, i must stay discipline and buy only when my rules tell me to in future! If i managed to close this position in black, i will still never ever take such risk all the same! Really let my ancestors down.

Media Ring - Progressive charting

Rotary - Japan Candlesticks Bullish Reversal pattern spotted.

DataCraft - Progressive Charting ; on the weekly chart, it is rebounding off a resistance. Be careful.

*Growmoney Quick Pick*

Such a small list today! I have decided to trim the list otherwise it looks damn stupid to have a long list and not very useful to my dear readers. As you can see, the list contains only penny shares. Look carefully hor, if you think risk/reward too small, AVOID!

Profit Taking on Stock Market

The much anticipated day was here. Profit taking! I scanned through my charts and didn't really found anything worth posting tonight. That is including the progressive charting where i share my reading with you. DBS however is a real shocker where it breakout! Though to the down side. haha Luckily I sell when i detected weakness. My itchy fingers got me into sitting on 2 paper losses this week. Stock market is never easy! Every week I continue to learn new things. I shall observe these 2 counters longer before i make any decision as I do not detect bear strength in them yet. The sector to beat is still property, look at how well they survived the corrections. But I must not be complacent, 100% attention still needed on them.

I correctly anticipated a weak market week following a thorough scan on market on Tueday. There were weakness all over and no good risk reward trades to make over last 2 days. That is inclusive of yesterday's penny shares rally where I do not see nice chart formations. I think many newbies were caught in the offsite trap. I would like to remind you something important that i will never forget. There is manipulation in the market. Do not be fooled by the increase in activities of a quiet dead stock or a forgotten stock. Sometimes they are pushed up so that the insiders can get out.

Quickpick? not today dudes, I wouldn't get vested in a correction phase. The low can get lower and the high get higher.

5th win in Stock Market!

:) 5th Consecutive win in trading! 2006 is really becoming my favourite year! Not only am I growing money but I also have a decent site to call it my own. Gallen bro told me Trading blogs has made it to Today newspaper, mentioned by a columnist. I hope retailers can sit up and start to treat trading blogs seriously. Other than high paying analysts' reports, a few of us have started this free information sharing for all. Of course funded by Google Adsense la. :D What's next? Straits Times? Money Mind? kekeke

I sold my DBS babies after a bearish confirmation today making it my second round of profit from it and my fifth consecutive win! But, am not very happy with how DBS ran. It only run up a day....infact the whole banking sector did not rally as much as STI. Darn! Anyway, profit is still money. Let us recount hor, DBS, Chartered, MMI, Rotary, DBS .... more more to come! Infact I still deep in profit for some...i think double hattrick on the cards..keke

Penny shares hog the limelight today with China plays astonishingly snapped up in huge volume! Bluechips were more subdued...i guess it's about time they undergo corrections. Although there were many breakouts in penny shares, i do not like to be vested in them. Somehow the risk of getting offside is higher. My lessons in 2004 taught me to look at pennies with a pinch of salt. Anyway, my current strategy works very well for me by buying babies of bluechips. So I am not going to be tempted by greed and make any risky trades. From what i see, there isn't any god risk/reward that caught my eyes. Either it's too late to buy now or it's a "trap".

People in my mailing list, if anyone of you had caught China Sky Chem from my weekly quickpick, cheer at my shoutbox pls....make some noise!!! I want to see how many i helped! :D

Fisher Tech - Breakout is close by.

Stock Market defying Gravity & Decipher's Trading method

Stock market continued it's march up north. However this time round, i notice bluechips were off the top volume list and penny shares are taking over. Checking my daily sentiment analysis, i found most of them slowing down. It's time to be nimble! Either they rally from here or i'm gonna take my profit soon! Anyway, stock market doesn't move 1 straight line. When it retraces then I shall buy again! :D

While many were agonising the missed opportunities of the current rally, I heard many were actually considering China plays. So far i have never traded in them because they doesn't suit my style. They are very fast in the retracement and hence often times, i could not react in time. Also, i fear the "chng kays" might seize this rally to ram up the share price and then offload everything they have to the innocent retailers. The same holds true to other penny shares. If you buying, keep your eyes open.

Sector wise, chips seems to be slacking off abit other than UTAC. Plastic sector, many begun to bottom pick as i could see volume and price picking up. However, being a risk aversive trader, unless I know oil price is going to come down, otherwise i won't touch plastic stocks yet. Telecoms sector came down yesterday and the volume is huge. It's either going to be the final shakeout or the beginning of a correction. Marine and offshore was no where in my list. I guess another sector exhausted.

Today, i would like to touch abit on my style of buying. I'm sure you guys heard alot about pyramiding. I do the same too. When a breakout occurs. How do i know? It's from the previous night's homework(analysis). Say the sell queue at 1.08 was taken out in large block. I will queue at 1.08 immediately at the buy queue 50% of what i intend to buy, say 5 lots. The stock resting at 1.08 for a while, at this point i do not add. When it starts to take out the 1.09 at the sell queue again with large block, i will grab 3 lots. Same process again for the remaining 2 lots if identical actions were seen at 1.10. I hope i explained enough. Because it is impt to lose cheaply when wrong. I add on only when the stock is moving up not down. The other part of trading which I can't explain in words is *drumroll*...........Gut Feel! :P

If possible you should try to read the time and sales of a stock after every trading session. It tells the story of what is going on. I use this to confirm my chart reading.

Rotary - Everyone is talking about it so i thought i can share my two cents worth.

DBS - Progressive charting. Maybe it's because of the Tuesday holiday, seems like losing strength.

Media Ring - Breakout!

DataCraft - Second Stage breakout

Starhub - Progressive charting. Telecommunication sector isn't very impressive at the moment. When the interest in the sector comes back, this is one baby to buy.

Hi-Pi - one of the laggards i found. Most of the plastics has moved only this one stayed silent. When it moves, it can really moves alot!

GrowMoney QuickPick - Another use of quickpick list is to identify the sector in play. From today's list, it's quite obvious it's a broadbased rally. Some sectors are missing in actions. Exhaustion? You decide.

Stock Market to edge higher?

After a splendid week of 4 consecutive big gains, the question on my mind is, when is the run going to stop. When should i take my profit? What if I took my profit and then the stock continues to rally? Should I hold out the whole retracement and hope for it to rally high high? After a weekend of rest, a conversation with one veteran trader and some reading, i have came to a conclusion. I shall sell on weakness! Nevermind if i might miss out a big run because no one is able to sell at the exact top. Paper profits are money, where I should not risk it for guessing if it will go higher.

I was right in not acting to my own judgement that Friday will be a profit taking day. Look, STI edges higher on Friday even though there was profit taking. STI has broken the 2400 resistance and while it was there, i am wary of a potential double top. Rewinding back to year 2001, there was a double top spotted before the bear market of 2002 occurs.

Many people have told me it is very easy to win in a bull run. That really shake my confidence a little. I began to think, maybe they are right, I was lucky to be in this rally. I was deep in thoughts on Friday night and turned in early. When I woke up on Saturday, I changed my mind. In 2004, it was a bullish year yet I had my worst time in the stock market. I think the timing of buying even in a bullish year is important. I then read my own archives and saw my own journey from June'05 to 2006. I tried to find a magic formula that will give me almost 100% trades. Of course I failed, there is no such thing in stock market. Then I began to read alot and scaled down my risk and begin to note down what I did wrong when I lost money. From Sept - Oct '05, I missed out some of my own picks which became big runners. I had 20% to 50% paper profits reduced to 10% or less. Again I noted down why I missed so much of my paper profits. During the sideway and quiet trading months of November and December, i made some good stock selections and made some money here and there. Fast forward to today, again i am sitting on paper profits. Although luck is important, i believe my hardwork in learning from my mistakes and avoiding them plays an important part too. I'm not telling you these to impress you or to make you come back to my site everyday. Rather, my wish is for you to stop losing unneccessary money. Learning from mistakes is very important in the Stock Market.

For those interested, you may see what other visitors said about Decipher. They are really a cool bunch of people! Prosperity brings fortune! huat ah!! :D

Stock Market Bullishness Unlimited!

My winning streak continues as i cashed out of Rotary today at 0.520 for my 4th win. Profit though could have been more had I heed the T.A sell warning instead of contract expectations. Nevermind, profit is still profit. I would be real stupid if I bet against the obvious signs for a rebound. If I cash out everything today I will record a 20% equity account profit for 2006 immediately! haha But nope! I shall ride the rest of the stocks as there were no visible sell signals. STI at 2400, correction is bound to set in especially tomorrow is a Friday. However my experience taught me to react accordingly instead of pre-empt the market. I shall keep a close watch and sell those stocks that I think I had riden far enough. I tried to shorten the quickpick list but market is simply bullish! haha

If you are not making money and hoping that your dead stocks rebound, I am just like you 6 months ago. Then, I was tied down by my HGM and while my friends were making money, I was covering my losses. That is when I decided enough is enough and started to get serious. If you are like me, I advise you to change your whole trading methods and psychology. Get a book and read it. When market rallies, as a trader you should be making money.

This week was a test to my self acclaimed employee styled trading methods. I couldn't afford the time to get online. Work still comes first for me as it is my primary income that put food on table. Every buy/sell decision has to be made and orders keyed in before market opens. I'm just glad my methods still worked under that condition. It is important to find a trading style most comfortable to you! Tell me how can you contra or go for short gains like 2 bids if you have no time to monitor the market full time? It just doesn't make sense and it is exactly why i began my trading journey in red (Now pink liao hor haha) For me, i only make a trade if it is likely to breakout because normally, it will run up up and away! keke

Someone asked why Capitaland was sold down to 3.52 today? Well it closed 3.58 didn't it? hehe Another thing that is always mentioned, do not be fooled by intraday actions. Sometimes, weakholders or contra players sell to cash in their profits. I make my decisions before market opens to avoid falling into the trap of selling too early. This rule of mine comes after many bad trades during intra day. Of course if a sudden surge of selling occurs, selling intra day is fine too! :P

Federal, Utac & MMI, what do they have in common? They are all counters that I saw opportunities in December. You can check the archives for the charts. Also i realise the best opportunity for profits other than buying at breakouts is to buy when there is low volume on little price change for a couple of days. But pre-requisite is, there must be a well defined prior uptrend! Quite important to me, I hope you can explore this idea. : )

If you appreciate my sharing of observations and lessons i learnt through the painful ways, there is a song i like particularly and i hope you can understand, *sing* if you are happy and you know it's click your mouse! Click Click! hehe :D

Tua Tua Huat ah!!!!

UTAC Testing the next resistance at 0.800 . Breakout candidate

Media Ring - 3rd try to break 0.280...the volume this time round is quite good and constant. A breakout today. Let's see if it can take out 0.280

Capitaland - Progressive charting.

DBS- I knew banking sector will be part of the rally and I was right. Yes I was vested in the babies. Cheers to all my members who betted with me! : ) But it's now at resistance, since i bought the babies, i will be fast to take profit in this one as babies are volatile. I will cover my rules of choosing babies in this week's weekly analysis volume 2.

HoBee - My biggest runner so far and I still can't find a reason to sell it. It has an uptrend, very good chart formation breakouts and stable predictable consolidations. If you can understand a stock's movement very well, just like a samurai with his sword, you will be invincible. Breakout candidate

Join Decipher's Mailing List

This is my second invite for joining my mailing list. Do consider for those who just started to trade as I had added a 4th reason. : )

Now that I have an average of 550 visitors daily, I hate to lose all of you if blogspot, my hosting server decides to close down. Although it's a remote scenario, but i'm taking no chance. Please join my mailing list!

Top 4 reasons why you should join.

1) I want to be your friend in trading. Let's keep in contact!

2) I am going to send you my e-books for free. If you find those trading books too costly to own and no time to read, you will like my free e-books. My e-book will be the simplest to understand and most importantly, it's from someone you know.....decipher, a local trader like yourself trying to make some coffee money from the stock market.

3) Mass is power. You have heard how mass can move the stock market. With 500 of us, we will be quite a power to bargain for good prices! A good example is trading software, you have found it expensive to purchase, but imagine enjoying a hefty discount because you are part of the 500 Decipher's friends? Now that's truly a money saver. I will be the point of contact to get us good deals to purchase as a group!

4) Weekly Analysis Report. Before the start of the first trading day of the week, I will study the weekly charts of potentially big runners and the market in greater details than my usual daily articles. Now, I will shared it to my mailing list! So far the first week's report was sent on the 2nd Jan 2006 and I thought it was quite useful.

To join my mailing list, just join my yahoo group. I have included a link at http://growmoney.blogspot.com

Welcome aboard!

Psychology in Stock Trading

Another strong day! I should have been very happy but Rotary spoilt my mood. Also, something wierd is happening. Why are my counters not rallying? Most of them closed with dojis or slightly down with heavy volume. How unlucky can I get? STI 2400? Better believe it! hahaha However it has gone up so much, i wouldn't be surprised if there are profit taking. Anyway, it's healthy to have some selling during an uptrend.

I am experiencing hope and greed. I am hoping that those bearish signals I saw on my counters will not come true and I am greedy for further upmove. I have basis for my greed, look here! As a trader, I must be impartial and treat my stocks as merchandise. I am the business owner. When I have profits, there is nothing wrong in cashing out. It doesn't make sense to risk my profits for that extra few bids. Over the last few months, I realised that my stock picks has improved. I missed out on so many big runners because I have not enough cash. If I can consistently take profits off the market, my account will still grow all the same!

Since there is a mention about my strong following, I must thank all my visitors for that. : ) Thanks for dropping over, you make my blogging less lonely. Otherwise I will be talking to emptiness in the cyberworld. Also, Thanks for all the individual mails of encouragement i had received from day 1. Actually, I have already been humble about of the average of 550 visitors..keke There are more than 700 visitors on trading day daily! It's the weekend that pulls the stats down. hehe Actually quite thrilling watching the sitemeter on the left everyday, it's like STI...up up and away! hahahaha

Capital Land: Another shooting star is borned! One thing I noted is how other property counters are rallying strongly but there are selling in this counter.

Rotary: With a record breaking contract of $530 million yet it is not able to close at new high. To make things worse, it opened up and close down at day's low with a heavy volume. I hope you learn something here. Good FA doesn't guarantee stock price rally. I shared how I always respect the shooting star reported 2 days ago, hope you will too in future. When it occured, i smelt distribution, especially since "Eric" mentioned DB selling but decided to hang on as the news was coming. I am very disappointed that it ends with a typical sell on news. As a trader, i am going to take my profit (heng ah, still got profits after making so much noise hehehe) and re-enter when it's time to buy again.
